The youth wing of the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) said in the letter that if Tanushree Dutta gets a wildcard entry on Salman Khan's Bigg Boss 12, they will stage an aggressive protest against the show, threatening violence on the sets in Lonavla.

Tanushree, who has accused actor Nana Patekar of sexual harassment on the sets of 2008’s Horn OK Pleassss, recently said that she was being threatened by MNS as well. Tanushree alleged that the political party has threatened her with “violent attack”. “MNS party in an interview given to a leading daily has threatened me with a violent attack,” she said, as reported by ANI.

Meanwhile, Tanushree's team has said that the Mumbai Police have come forward to provide 24 hours protection to the actress by posting armed personnel at her home.

Tanushree’s allegations have found support from several Bollywood actors such as Sonam Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra, Freida Pinto and Farhan Akhtar. She has criticised the likes of Amitabh Bachchan of not being vocal in his condemnation of sexual harassment in the industry.

While Nana Patekar's lawyer has said that they have sent a legal notice to Tanushree seeking an apology for her statements, the actress has said that she hasn't received any notice till now and is not afraid to face legal action.
