Despite her notable success in previous elections, Kirron Kher's absence from recent political activities has raised eyebrows among voters, particularly with the impending Lok Sabha 2024 elections approaching. Many have questioned whether her apparent hiatus signifies her retirement from politics.

Addressing these speculations, Kirron Kher clarified her stance, revealing that she had met with senior party figures, including BJP president JP Nadda and Union Home Affairs Minister Amit Shah, two months prior. During this meeting, she conveyed her decision to refrain from contesting in the upcoming elections.
