Nikhil Gowda, son of Karnataka Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy, is a budding actor in Kannada and Telugu. Now, the current news is that even the Hindi audiences love watching Nikhil on screen.

Nikhil's first film was Jaguar, made both in Kannada and Telugu. The story of the movie was written by Vijayendra Prasad, father of SS Rajmouli of Baahubali fame. Though the film was not a box-office hit, Nikhil managed to make a strong mark in the industry. But the Hindi dubbing rights of the movie fetched good money and also captured over 2 crore views on YouTube.

This has helped Nikhil's next flick Seetharama Kalyana get a whopping amount of Rs 5.5 crore as part of Hindi satellite rights. Also starring Rachita Ram, Nikhil's Seetharama Kalyana has won the dubbing rights even before the completion of the movie.

RK Duggal Studios has brought the Hindi theatrical and satellite rights of the movie Seetharama Kalyana.

Reports are that he was reportedly very happy with the response of Hindi audience to the film Jaguar and offered good money for Seetharama Kalyana.

With this popularity, Nikhil might even set foot into Bollywood soon.

Meanwhile, another much-anticipated movie of his, Kurukshetra, along with tops stars of the Kannada film industry including Darshan, is underway. This film is said to be equivalent to Telugu blockbuster movie Baahubali (not in terms of the story, but in terms of production).

If Kurukshetra does well, just like Prabhas of Baahubali fame, Nikhil might also get an offer from Hindi filmmakers.
