In a recent development concerning the safety of Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, director Prem Soni, who is also a neighbor of Khan's and has worked with him on the film 'Main Aurr Mrs Khanna,' provided an update on the situation following an alarming incident outside Khan's Mumbai residence, Galaxy Apartments.

Two gunmen reportedly opened fire outside Salman Khan's residence, sparking shock and concern among his fans and the wider community. However, Prem Soni assured the public that despite not having directly communicated with Khan post the incident, the actor is 'absolutely fine.' Soni emphasized that all necessary measures are being taken to ensure Khan's safety and that there is no cause for alarm.

Residing in the same building as Salman Khan, Prem Soni acknowledged the worrying nature of the situation but reassured everyone that authorities are actively addressing the issue and that they are all safe.

The incident, which occurred around 5 am on April 14, 2024, saw two assailants on a motorcycle firing four rounds near Khan's residence, with one bullet hitting the building's wall. Authorities recovered CCTV footage capturing the incident, as well as an image of the alleged shooters. Additionally, a two-wheeler believed to be connected to the incident was discovered approximately two kilometers away from Khan's home.

Following the incident, an FIR has been lodged against an unidentified individual, and security measures around Salman Khan have been heightened. Anmol Bishnoi, purportedly the brother of incarcerated gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, claimed responsibility for the shooting. Currently, numerous teams from the Mumbai Crime Branch are actively investigating the matter.

Salman Khan's father, Salim Khan, responded to the incident, downplaying its significance by stating, 'There is nothing to tell. They just want publicity; there is no need to worry.' Similarly, Khan's friend Rahul Narain Kanal expressed gratitude for Khan's well-being, attributing it to divine intervention, and reassured the public that 'Bhai is all good.'
