'I'm uncertain whether I want to subject my personal life to the scrutiny it might attract. This industry is something I've chosen, not my partner or those present at the wedding. That's why I've opted for privacy. It wasn't about secrecy but rather avoiding public spectacle, which could lead to overthinking about perception. Consequently, I have no intentions of releasing any images. I don't believe I'm emotionally prepared for that scrutiny at the moment. I trusted those in attendance; they were there to support me, not to critique,' Taapsee conveyed to Hindustan Times.

Taking charge of the wedding arrangements was Taapsee's sister, Shagun Pannu, a notable wedding designer. Shagun ensured that her sister could revel in her special day without fretting over details. 'Taapsee wasn't demanding at all. She entrusted me with all wedding arrangements, prioritizing enjoyment. The guest list was restricted, alleviating any concerns for Taapsee,' Shagun disclosed to the publication.

Taapsee and Mathias' paths first crossed in 2013 during the inauguration ceremony of the Indian Badminton League. Their acquaintance blossomed into a profound romantic bond over time. Despite their hectic schedules, the couple nurtured their relationship discreetly, culminating in a beautiful wedding ceremony this year.
