Casting director Girdhar Swami is on cloud nine as the year 2018 has brought him immense praise. Not only has his film entered the Rs 100-crore club, it was well-received by the audience too. After Ayushmann Khurrana’s Andhadhun, another release Bhaiaji Superhit is all set to hit the theatres. Girdhar tasted success with his debut project, which was with ace filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar.

Impressed with his cast in Calendar Girls, Madhur preferred Girdhar above all for his critically acclaimed film Indu Sarkar. There was no looking back for Girdhar as he continued to work with all the big directors. Girdhar was the guy, who introduced Harshavardhan Rane to the Bollywood industry with the film Sanam Teri Kasam.

When Chitrangada Singh walked out of the film, he was quick to get the replacement for Babumoshai Bandookbaaz that starred ace actor Nawazuddin Siddique. Girdhar maintained his calm in crucial times and amid tough competition in the showbiz. Girdhar feels fortunate to have worked with big directors including Madhur Bhandarkar, Bejoy Nambiar, Ram Gopal Varma and others.

Girdhar says that his motto is to get the right face and always support the budding actors and actress. In 2019, Girdhar has two big releases – Phir Hera Pheri, Welcome Instalments and few other projects for which the announcements are expected to be out soon.
