Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh tied the knot at Villa Del Balbianello this morning in a traditional Konkani Ceremony. As per our source at the wedding, the couple got married at 7:00 am GMT. 

Yes, the deed is done! Our Leela aka Deepika Padukone has married Ram aka Ranveer Singh and are now, husband and wife. Here are the first pictures from the location and the video of the security being beefed up around the area. Take a look.

 

 

While Deepika is now officially Mrs. Deepika Padukone Singh, the wedding rituals are still going on. India Today is doing live reporting from the venue and giving minute-by-minute updates. 

According to reports, Deepika is wearing a gorgeous Kanjeevaram sari while the groom Ranveer is rocking a Kanjeevaram sherwani.

According to India Today, around 12 florists from Florence were called to decorate the wedding venue in water lilies which happens to be the bride's favourite flower. Bollywood friends and mentors Shah Rukh Khan, Karan Johar, Farah Khan and Sanjay Leela Bhansali, have already arrived at the venue at 9 am today.

According to Bollywoodlife, all the visitors at the CastaDiva resort are said to be wearing a special wristband while security guards are covering up the camera lenses on mobile phones with stickers for extra security.

Even on Lake Como numerous security boats patrol just outside the perimeter of the property to deter snooping photographers and paparazzi determined to leak intimate moments from the wedding. India Today, which is already at the venue, also reported that they have a no-drones policy in place.

According to Pinkvilla, the couple has taken insurance for four days from November 12 to 16. The insurers are Oriental Insurance. The firm did confirm that they are safeguarding the wedding but did not disclose the amount.
