New Delhi:  As actor Ajay Devgn turns a year older today, age is just a number for him when it comes to good cinema. Last seen in Total Dhamaal, Devgn is back with another mass entertainer but this time with a substantial plot, De De Pyaar De. 

The trailer dropped today on Devgn's 50th birthday and also stars Rakulpreet and Tabu. The movie looks like a fun watch especially with the three critically acclaimed actors in key roles. From what can be gathered, the plot revolves around 50-year-old Ashish who is having a midlife crisis of sorts after having been divorced for almost 18 years from his ex-wife, Tabu aka Manju. Meanwhile, he hooks up with a woman half his age Ayesha, played by Rakulpreet and the two decide to date amidst accusations of her being a golddigger and the usual 'log kya kahenge' spiel.

Adding more masala into the mix is Javed Jaffrey, as his plain-speaking friend who says it as is and Devgn-Tabu's two children, who are the same age as Rakulpreet. 

Devgn, took to Twitter to share the trailer on his 50th birthday with an ironic caption saying -Half Century poori ho gayi! Meri taraf se chhota sa gift- #DeDePyaarDeTrailer.

Even, film critic Taran Adarsh praised the fun trailer calling it 'winsome'. 

The trailer has already racked up over lakh views within a few minutes of getting dropped and fans are digging Devgn's performance. Meanwhile, the hardcore fans of the star in his more action-packed roles such as Singham are taking to Twitter to express their shock at the actor's romantic avatar.
