But Hrithik has currently been shooting for a film based on the life of Super 30 founder Anand Kumar and lost his muscle mass to get into the skin of his character. Both Hrithik and Tiger coming together in an as-yet-untitled action entertainer, directed by Bang Bang director Siddharth Anand and produced by Yash Raj Films.

Yash Raj Films had announced the movie with the two actors in the lead and first revealed its release date as January 25, 2019. On February this year, they officially announced that the release date was now on October 2, 2019. The film was said to start shoot from this month but now buzz is that the schedule has been postponed to September (with Hrithik joining the rest of the cast and crew in October) this year and now we have come to know the official reason why.

Says a trade source, “Siddharth Anand’s next movie, starring Hrithik Roshan, Tiger Shroff and Vaani Kapoor and produced by Aditya Chopra, is about Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff who play cops and are expert in martial arts and hand-to-hand combat. Hrithik will also be Tiger’s mentor in the movie which then becomes a game of one-upmanship with both pitting their wits against each other and learning some lessons in the process. Apparently, the film was to start from this month but has now got postponed to October. Hrithik is currently completing the shoot of Super 30 now. While there’s been talk that certain script changes are taking place in Siddharth Anand’s film, truth is that Hrithik also wants to look his best so he wants time off to build his body after Super 30. Everyone knows that Hrithik is a fitness person and he will leave no stone unturned to look great opposite Tiger.”

The source adds, “Tiger has one of the hottest bodies in Bollywood and Hrithik doesn’t want to fall short in any way as lots of bare-bodied sequences with hand-to-hand combat will be there. Both are great in action and superb dancers too so both stars will have to look their best when in the same frame together.”

When we informed YRF that we have heard that the Hrithik-Tiger-Vani film has been postponed to October because of scripting changes and also because Hrithik wants some time to build his body, the YRF’s spokesperson says, “This information is untrue. Our film is starting its shooting schedule in September as per plan. Hrithik will start his shooting schedule in October because he has taken some time to build his body.”

Earlier when the film was announced on social media last year, Hrithik Roshan had posted on Twitter to Tiger Shroff, “A Guru will always have that one trick, he doesn’t teach his student.” In return, Tiger had retorted back, “Sir @iHrithik. You are my Guru. But you should know when the game changes.”

Siddharth Anand’s film will be in Lake Como, the Amalfi Coast and various countries across the work, including Spain, Georgia, Italy, Portugal, Sweden and India are zeroed in for the film.
