Good news for all Shah Rukh Khan's fans in Chennai. Reports suggest that he will be seen in a 15-minute role as a villain in Thalapathy Vijay's upcoming film Bigil.

According to a source, SRK will be seen providing a twist to the climax of the film. He will soon be shooting for a fight scene with Thalapathy. The Bollywood superstar will also likely be seen dancing with Vijay in a special item song, although, there has been no official confirmation regarding it.

A source close to the crew was quoted in an entertainment portal saying, "They approached Shah Rukh Khan with the request. Shah Rukh has never done any Tamil film before. But this is to shake a leg with Vijay to an AR Rahman tune."

Bigil shares screen space with Nayanthara in the film. Jackie Shroff, Kathir, Vivek, Daniel Balaji, Varsha Bollamma and Anandraj are few other actors in the movie.  Oscar-winning musician AR Rahman has been roped in to compose music for the film and the responsibility of cinematography has been bestowed upon KG Vishnu of 'Mersal' fame.

In the poster, Vijay is seen in two different roles - father and son. The son is a football player while the father seems to be a gangster hailing from North Madras. The film is set to hit the screens on Diwali 2019.
