Mumbai: At just the age of 26 Alia Bhatt has white hair!

For those who are finding this difficult to believe, Alia herself has shared this piece of information. Bollywood’s youngest successful actor in the present times, Alia has revealed that she has got a piece of white hair. Not only this, but the Kalank actor also seems to have figured out the reason behind why and how she got white hair. While discussing how she prepped for her dance number Ghar More Pardesiya for the movie, Alia told MyNation, “I did a lot of prep work for Ghar More Pardesiya. I did Kathak for a year, I did the same choreography for two and a half months every day.” She smiled and added, “I have got one white hair also I think because of that.”

Though the music video received rave reviews, did you notice her white hair?

After Raazi, Kalank is the next period drama for Alia. Sharing her experience of being a part of it, the actor said, “It was definitely challenging because it is a full costume drama. Wearing such clothes and heavy jewellery doesn’t come naturally to me but it is good prep work for life. It was physically and emotionally tiring for me. Also, there were a lot of hardships while making the film. We did not always have the weather on our side. But that’s all a part of the filmmaking process.”

Alia made sure that Roop, her character in the film looks distinct from whatever she has done till date. “One main thing I had in my head. I didn’t want this girl to look or feel like something that you have already seen before. Raazi was a little bit period and I didn’t want Roop to look like Sehmat.”

Elaborating on how she did her homework for the role, Alia said, “Because it is a period film, I watched a few old movies to get a sense of body language, grace etc. I watched Mughal-e-Azam, Silsila, Kabhi Kabhie and Umrao Jaan. I also watched Zindagi Gulzar Hai which is a Pakistani TV show. The girl’s character in the show is very much like how Roop would be. She has a burden on her shoulders. She is not always happy but she still has to come across as strong. She is very vulnerable. These are all opposite feelings which you have to bring about in one person in two hours.”

Alia revealed that there are a few aspects of her on-screen character with which she can relate. “I relate to Roop in many ways but not in a total form because her journey is not relatable to me. But maybe her qualities, her personality, the fact that she follows her heart like I do are similar. Also, she is a brave and strong woman. She is a little childish but not as much as I am. I am quite childish,” laughed Alia.
