Kollywood actor Simbu, who was last seen in the Tamil film Chekka Chivantha Vaanam, is presently gearing up for the release of his next film Vandhaa Rajavathaan Varuven.

On the eve of Pongal, Simbu had released a video, in which he requested his fans, not to spend their hard-earned money on cut outs and banners. "Instead, buy clothes for your parents, which would make me happy," he had said.

However, Simbu has released another video now, which goes against his previous statement. Addressing his fans, Simbu said that he does not have enough fans and that he is trying to publicise himself with such videos. He directed his supporters to celebrate the movie on a grand scale with cut outs and banners to market himself and his film.
