Bengaluru: Tamil actor Vishal Krishna's 'Vishal Film Factory' will distribute the multi-lingual Yash starrer movie KGF in Tamil Nadu. Vishal's father, popular producer GK Reddy thanked his son for taking up this project as he remembered his connection with Karnataka and Kannada.

Reddy is a Kannada lover. He studied and grew up in Karnataka. He spoke in Kannada during the launch of KGF Tamil trailer, enthralling the audience.

"I was born in Karnataka. I went to school at Whitefield and later at Varthur. I worked in HAL. Only then did I shift to Madras. I love Kannada. Whenever I meet any Kannadiga in the US, I feel very happy," he said, according to Filmibeat.

"I wanted to be an actor, but my dreams were realised by my son," added Reddy.

"I always wanted to make a movie in Kannada and Telugu. I was good friends with Rajkumar, Kalyan Kumar, Uday Kumar, Ambareesh, Ravichandran and Hamsalekha," he said.

Speaking positively about KGF, Reddy said that he was proud to promote the film. "Yash is like a son and I love him. I got this chance of  promoting this Kannada movie through Yash. I am sure KGF will bring good name for Yash," he said.
