Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan has reportedly started working on Mahabharat which is to be produced by Mukesh Ambani with a whopping budget of Rs 1,000 crore.

Trade Analyst Ramesh Bala took to Twitter and confirmed the news. "After #ThugsOfHindostan , @aamir_khan will start working on a movie series based on #Mahabharat #RIL 's #MukeshAmbani to co-produce.. This will be mostly in the lines of #TheLordOftheRings , #GameofThrones in-terms of production value.. ₹ 1000+ Crs Budget for the series..(sic)," he wrote.

Meanwhile, according to Times Now, Aamir has offered the role of Arjun to the Baahubali star. However, there is no official confirmation on the making of Mahabharat. It is said that Aamir is keen to play the role of Krishna, while Deepika Padukone may be roped in play the main female character of Draupadi.

Meanwhile, Prabhas is currently busy with Saaho which is being directed by Sujeeth. The movie also features Shraddha Kapoor, Neil Nitin Mukesh and Jackie Shroff in lead roles. Saaho will release in 2019.
