Apart from Bollywood, romance films have always been attractive. Oddly enough, we also have to include cop movies in this list.

Bollywood is a cop fan. Police officers are recurring characters in both contemporary and classic Hindi films, whether they are parodied in comedic films or serve as the heroes of a dramatic film.

Here's a list of the best police movies you should watch:

1. Mardaani:
The film, directed by Pardeep Sarkar, tackles the challenging subject of human trafficking, making it a challenging watch at times. But because of the director's gripping storytelling and Rani Mukerji's outstanding performance, this movie is impossible to put down.

2. Singham:
Ajay Devgn plays Bajirao Singham, the film's main character, a police officer in the little village of Shivgad. The narrative centers on Singham's confrontation with Prakash Raj's portrayal of Jaikant Shikre, a formidable criminal politician.

3. Sooryavanshi:
It's really a simple exposition. However, it picks up steam in the second half when Simmba and Singham make stunning entrances. The final twenty minutes provide a full-fledged, mass-market movie experience, complete with tons of action, some very juvenile humor, and heroic material. Sooryavanshi is unable to make an impression on his own.

4. Aan: Men at Work:
Four police officers' stories were depicted in this Madhur Bhandarkar film. These officers have the challenging job of combating crime while facing intense political pressure and making personal sacrifices. Mumbai's inept police force provides menial assistance, even as the city is plagued by the constant threat of criminal activity. However, a new DCP arrives in the city, determined to eradicate crime.

5. Gangaajal:
Gangaajal was also influenced by the Bhagalpur blindings of 1980, in which a number of prisoners and suspected criminals were purportedly blinded by police officers by having acid poured into their eyes. Whether Shashi Bhushan Sharma was connected to the case or not is still unknown.
