New Delhi: The official audio-visual campaign of the BJP for the upcoming Lok Sabha election is out and the catch line is ‘Phir Ek Baar Modi Sarkar’ (Modi government once more).

Centered around Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the achievements of his administration in this term, the party also launched a cell phone ringtone and a meme titled ‘Decisive leadership Vs Mahamilavat’, a term coined by the PM for the ‘mahagathbandhan’.

The campaign has enumerated the flagship welfare schemes of the party for the different sections of society — from farmers to soldiers. The campaign also mentions the achievements earned by India under Modi’s regime —  from the heightened status of India globally, its space prowess after the A-Sat test to the government’s steps against black money.

The campaign has also touted the twin surgical strikes inside Pakistan, including Balakot, and the government’s stern stance against terrorism.

The videos and thumbnails showcase PM’s flagship schemes, such as PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana (guaranteeing Rs 6000 annually to farmers through DBT); One rank One Pension for servicemen; Mission Shakti (India joined the elite club of four space powers); Swachh Bharat campaign under which millions of toilets were constructed; Ujjwala Yojana for LPG cylinders to BPL families; and the income tax relaxation for the middle class and young earners in the Budget 2019-20.

In one of the campaign videos, terrorists are equated with mosquitoes and the surgical strikes and action against Pakistan and terrorism have been shown as reasons for re-electing the PM.
