Dinajpur: CPI(M) candidate from Raiganj, Mohammed Salim's car has been allegedly attacked by TMC cadre in North Dinajpur’s Islampur. If reports are to be believed, Salim was also injured in the incident.

The attack happened when Salim personally went to inspect allegations of booth capturing in Tengribari, Nayapara area. According to the CPI(M) leader, he was flooded with complaints of rigging by TMC cadre in those areas. He also said as there were no central forces in those booths, it was a free run for the ruling party.

Salim also alleged that the Election Commission did not take any action in spite of complaining against TMC.
