Serious downtime for YouTube is pretty rare, and this time, the servers were not working for over almost an hour.

Previously, YouTube suffered a global outage during the World Cup game between England and Croatia this summer, as per a report by The Verve.

Prior to that, the Pakistani government accidentally caused an hours-long global YouTube blackout a decade ago by attempting to censor a trailer for an anti-Islamic film.
