After surviving much torture, 50 star tortoises will now see the light of day in Karnataka. The tortoises were smuggled in Singapore, and were meant to be sold illegally, but were rescued by Wildlife SOS India & ACRES Singapore. The tortoises have now been successfully transported to Karnataka.
