The Central government has instructed foreign e-commerce firms such as Amazon and Walmart's Flipkart to ensure that they are compliant with new foreign investment rules which are aimed at deterring them from providing steep online discounts. New phones from ASUS and Samsung Galaxy Fit accessories were also launched in the market.
