Hyderabad: Telangana Police seized Rs 8 crore in cash from the BJP and detained seven people, including party accountant Gopi.
The police said, based on credible input, they intercepted a car on Monday in which two persons were found in possession of Rs 2 crore.
Further interrogation revealed that there was more money being transported which led to the seizure of Rs 6 crore more.
Telangana BJP spokesperson, Krishna Sagar Rao stated that this is just a political conspiracy by the TRS which is trying to influence the voters.
