Coimbatore: An independent candidate from Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, Noor Mohammed has filed his nomination to contest from Pollachi. This is the 29th time Mohammed is trying his hand at elections.
Noor Mohammed, a resident of Sundarapuram, filed his nomination tugging a bullock cart. His supporters were on it.
Mohammed has earlier filed nominations for Lok Sabha, Assembly and local body polls only to receive meagre votes.
Earlier, Noor Mohammed had come galloping on horseback to file his nomination.
Mohammed has often come to be known for such publicity stunts before elections and is working towards beating the record of Election King Pandiarajan, who has filed 200 nominations.
