I-T raids in Karnataka: BJP says it stands vindicated; slams Congress-JD(S) govt

Bengaluru: The BJP slammed the Congress-JD(S) ruling coalition in Karnataka for pointing fingers at it as the sleuths of the income tax department raided close aides of the JD(S) and Congress leaders.

Reiterating that the BJP had got no role in the raids, senior BJP leader Go Madhusudhan said the I-T department verifies the allegations, based on the information it receives and draws up its own plans to hold raids.
