If PM Modi is re-elected, I will quit politics: Karnataka minister Revanna

Mysuru: Karnataka PWD minister and senior JD(S) leader HD Revanna has said that he will quit politics if Prime Minister Narendra Modi is re-elected.

"I will retire from politics if Modi gets re-elected from Varanasi and becomes the prime minister again. The BJP will not come to power this time," Revanna told reporters.

Revanna is the second son of JD(S) supremo and former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda and elder brother of Karnataka chief minister HD Kumaraswamy. He was in Mysuru to campaign for the Congress candidate CH Vijayshankar, contesting against BJP MP Pratap Simha from the Mysuru Lok Sabha seat.
