The supporters of Mandya independent candidate Sumalatha Ambareesh and the JD(S)-Congress candidate Nikhil Kumaraswamy indulged in fights for separate reasons in Mandya and Bengaluru. Sumalatha supporters expressed their anger against officials for not giving them permission to hold a rally or procession, while Nikhil and his supporters were allowed.
Meanwhile, in Bengaluru, the Congress and BJP workers indulged in heated arguments in KR Puram. The arguments started as BJP supporters started shouting slogans of PM Narendra Modi.
