Family of lynched boy to boycott Lok Sabha election in Kerala; villagers join in

Palakkad: 27-year-old Adivasi youth, Madhu was lynched at Attappadi in Palakkad on February 22 last year by a mob, which had accused him of theft. Now, Madhu's family has decided to boycott the upcoming Lok Sabha election due to lack of facilities in the village. Along with Madhu's family, rest of the villagers have also decided to boycott the election. The villagers say, there is no proper road, drinking water facility nor a bridge to reach their house. 42 families in this village will be boycotting the election.
