Belagavi: Continuing his tirade against the Congress, Union minister Anant Kumar Hegde said the party had done little to improve the lives of people in the seventy years it ruled. Giving a clarion call to oust the Congress, the minister also added he and his party - the BJP - would not allow the Congress to come back to power.

Anant Kumar Hegde held the party guilty of looting the country more than the Britishers. The MP also took a dig at the party for providing only 6 crore cylinders, whereas the NDA, under the leadership of Modi, had provided 9 crore cylinders to the public.

Subtitle: We have to take a firm decision today to make Karnataka Congress-free. If we put our efforts in this direction, rest assured of a victory. Congress has plundered the country more than the Britishers and Muslims. All the ills that the country is suffering from are due to the Congress. They managed to give 6 cr more cylinders in 70 years, but we have given 9 crore cylinders in just 1-2 years.
