You could lose benefits, land in jail if you listen to Arundhati Roy on NPR

Arundhati Roy wants the people to lie during the NPR process. She even went on to say that when asked for the address, the people should say “7 RCR” and when asked for a name, they should say “Ranga-Billa”.

Her statements are not only provocative, but extremely foolish for a couple of reasons. Firstly, the NPR is only a population register and has been an exercise carried out every 10 years, including during the UPA years.
