Karnataka: Yeddyurappa responds to MB Patil’s ‘common sense’ remark, asks to hire him as teacher

Bijapur: Karnataka BJP president BS Yeddyurappa on Sunday responded to Congress leader MB Patil’s comment. Patil had said, "Yeddyurappa does not have common sense."

Speaking to reporters in Bijapur's Vijayapura, BS Yeddyurappa in a sarcastic tone, responded by asking MB Patil to quit politics so that he could hire him as his teacher and learn common sense from him.

Earlier on Monday, MB Patil while visiting a temple in Vijayapura attempted to cross the devotees' line. A college student stopped MB Patil and questioned the Congress leader saying, "You should be like normal people standing in line, right?"

MB Patil's encounter with the girl stands in contrast to the words he spoke against Yeddyurappa, when he said that the BJP leader did not have any common sense.
