The World Day against Child Labour was established by the International Labour Organization (ILO) in 2002 to focus on child labour and to take action to eliminate it. Over 12% of children in India are subjected to labour and over 200 million children across the world are engaged in some sort of labour. With an aim of stirring up society to raise their voice against this plaguing issue, activists around the world are striving hard to deter adults from using children as a means to an end.
