World Cup cake: Tamil Nadu bakery prepares 6-foot-tall cake that replicates trophy

Ramanathapuram: Ahead of the much-awaited India-England match, a bakery in Tamil Nadu's Ramanathapuram prepared a cake that replicates the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 trophy.

This giant cake was made with 300 eggs and 60 kg of sugar and flour each. Speaking to reporters, Aishwaryaa’s Bakeries’ supervisor, Vijaya Baskaran said, "The cake would be on display till the end of the World Cup. Six cake designers toiled for four days before it took the shape of the World Cup."
