In the year 2019, India witnessed several women achievers from all walks of life and more importantly several issues related with women were ardently raised and debated all through the year across various platforms. One such issue that was raised time and again was the issue of women safety in India, especially after the recent Telangana gang-rape and murder horror. A recent survey revealed that 29% of Indians feel that women safety should be our country’s focus in the year 2020. In today’s episode of Not For Women Only with Sunita Iyer, we take a look at some of the things we as a country must do to make India a safer place for women to work and live.
