WATCH: Massive crowd cheering for PM Modi at Bengal’s Ranaghat

A massive crowd of people came to attend Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s rally at Bengal's Ranaghat on Wednesday. 

Resonating the nationalist narrative, Modi said that the government will implement NRC (National Register of Citizens) to identify infiltrators. He also said that the NRC will help people in Bengal to reclaim their rights. 

Modi also took a jibe at Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee calling her 'sticker didi' who labels central welfare schemes as those run by her government.

"Speedbreaker didi is also sticker didi. She just puts a sticker on central schemes like free electricity or ration for the people to claim that these benefits are being given the state government," he said.
