Moradabad: A nikah (wedding) was performed in the Muradabad hospital as an injured man was seen uttering Qabool hai in the presence of the Muslim priest. According to reports, Shanawaz and Asma were in love and they eloped to Uttaranchal. On getting the news that Asma was in Uttaranchal, her family reached the place where the couple was living on July 29. They promised to get the couple married, instead after they reached Muradabad, the boy was beaten up by the girl's family. Then he was admitted to the hospital. However, after talks, families agreed to get the couple married and reached the hospital with the priest who conducted the nikah. It is said that the nikah was also performed at the house of the girl before coming to the hospital.
