In a shameful incident, ex-serviceman Ravi Singh was beaten up by a granite factory’s staff over disruption in power supply. The incident occurred on the eve of 20th Kargil Vijay Diwas. Retired soldiers were working at a power sub-station in Uttar Pradesh’s Mahoba under the soldiers’ quota. The staff of Hari Om Granites rushed to the sub-station 33 and started abusing and assaulting Singh for disruption in power supply. They also tried to capture him. But hearing the noise, people gathered and saved the retired soldier from more humiliation. A case has been booked against the Hari Om Granites’ staff for attacking Singh.
