Bengaluru: Vexed with Karnataka chief minister HD Kumaraswamy’s work culture, members of the Karnataka Sanghatanegala Okkuta, a Kannada organisation, tried to lay siege to the Vidhana Soudha, state secretariat in Bengaluru. Alleging that the CM was resorting to merriment in resorts and visiting temples unnecessarily, the activists fumed that he was doing little to alleviate the problems created by water crisis in north Karnataka.

This being the case, the activists further felt that there was no need of Vidhana Soudha and hence, wanted to lock it. But the police prevented them for doing so by barricading the whole place.
