Twist in Karnataka Congress MLA Anand Singh’s ‘resignation’; Speaker denies receiving letter

Bengaluru: The news of Karnataka Congress MLA from Vijayanagara (Ballari district) resigning from the post of MLA is making rounds in Bengaluru. It is also said that he has already submitted his resignation to the state Assembly Speaker Ramesh Kumar. But reacting to the same, Ramesh, who is in Kolar to attend the National Press Day, said that he has no clue about it and he has not received any resignation letter from anyone so far. Speaking on the same, minorities welfare minister Zameer Ahmed Khan also said that Anand has not submitted his resignation letter.
