Turban traveller Amarjith Singh set for 52,000 km tour visiting places Guru Nanak has been to

New Delhi: Delhi resident (popularly known as turban traveller) Amarjeet Singh Chawla, who is 60-years-old, will travel 52,000 km to honour Sikh leader Guru Nanak on the occasion of the leader's 550th birth anniversary. Singh started his journey on July 4. He will visit all places that were visited by Guru Nanak. He will also travel to Bhutan, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. Guru Nanak had embarked on a journey in four different directions from Punjab (1500 to 1524) to spread the divine message. In 2018, Singh travelled from New Delhi to London, and completed a  40,000 km journey across 30 countries, while travelling through more than 150 cities in 135 days.
