Trouble mounts for Karnataka govt as Congress MLA Ramalinga Reddy decides to resign

Bengaluru: Veteran Karnataka Congress MLA Ramalinga Reddy is one of the 13 disgruntled legislators who are at the Karnataka Assembly Speaker's office in Bengaluru to allegedly tender their resignations. Speaking to the media on Saturday (July 6), Reddy said he is there to tender his resignation. But as the Speaker is in not in the office, the leaders are waiting. When asked for the reason for this decision, Reddy, who represents BTM Layout in Bengaluru, said that he is being cornered by the state Congress leaders. The latest developments are set to put the Karnataka coalition government in more trouble.
