Sirpur (Telangana): A group of members allegedly belonging to the ruling TRS in Telangana were caught on camera attacking a woman forest guard who was in the Asifabad district for a forest development work.
The group can be seen attacking her up to a point where the woman loses balance and is about to fall off the tractor she is standing on.
In a video recorded after other forest guards rescued the woman, she blames the local TRS MLA Koneru Konappa and his brother for the attack.
"Krishna attacked me. He is the brother of MLA Koneru Konappa,” the woman can be heard saying in between sobs.
The BJP has condemned the attack. The party spokesperson Krishna Saagar Rao has demanded immediate action against the perpetrators.
