The carvings of Telangana CM K Chandrashekar Rao on the pillars of the Yadadri temple have upset many Hindu groups. They held a protest to condemn such carvings
Hyderabad: A temple is a holy place. It is supposed to remain apolitical. But the Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple in Yadadri, Telangana has pictures of chief minister K Chandrashekar Rao carved on its pillars. The pillars also have ‘car’ which happens to be the party symbol.
Enraged at his politicisation of temple, Hindu groups took out a protest march to condemn it. While the protests went on, temple authorities reiterate the carvings were done out of adulation for the CM.
