Tejaswini Ananth Kumar to contest from Bangalore South for Lok Sabha polls

Bengaluru: Tejaswini Ananth Kumar will be the BJP candidate from Bangalore South, the Lok Sabha constituency that her late husband and former union minister Ananth Kumar had represented six times, party leaders confirmed on Monday evening.

BJP legislators, corporators and workers have unitedly recommended Tejaswini's name as a candidate from Bangalore South.

Speaking to reporters, former deputy chief minister R Ashoka said that all the party members recommended Tejaswini Ananth Kumar's name as a candidate from Bangalore South.
