Theni: Police in Theni district launched a manhunt for the accused in a twin murder case. The accused, Gowri Mohandas was arrested in Tamil Nadu, and the police have also discovered guns and ammunition in the farm house he was
arrested from.
Police recovered 5 AK47 rifles, 2 double barrel guns and ten cell phones from the farm house. Upon further investigation, the police found that
the weapons were all dummies.
They are now probing why Mohandas would require fake weapons. Police believe that the Mohandas and ten others were in the
farmhouse planning to loot people.
