Cuddalore: Students of Government Boys Higher Secondary School in Cuddalore staged protests after they allegedly did not receive government-sponsored-laptops.
Students who had just cleared their class 12 exams, staged a road roko protest demanding they be given laptops, as promised by the Tamil Nadu government.
This is not the first incident of this kind that has come to the fore. On June 25, Erode Police lathicharged students who had cleared their class 12 and protested, demanding for laptops.
Erode Police arrested as many as 58 students including 33 girls for blocking the Erode-Mysuru National Highway.
