New Delhi: Tamil Nadu Congress Committee president KS Alagiri has slammed Marumalarchi Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (MDMK) chief  Vaiko for his remarks against the Congress while still being a part of an alliance with the party.

Rajya Sabha MP Vaiko had called the Congress a prime culprit in bringing the Article 370. Slamming Vaiko, Alagiri said that Vaiko is nothing but a chameleon who could change colour as per his convenience, even if he was in an alliance.

The Rajya Sabha passed the Reorganisation Bill 2019, that abolished Article 370 that gave special status to Jammu and Kashmir.

With the passing of the bill, Jammu-Kashmir and Ladakh become union territories (UT). While Jammu and Kashmir will be a Union Territory with legislature, Ladakh will not have a legislature.
