Tamil Nadu: Man tied to gate of government office; burnt alive

Theni: A man was found tied to a gate and burnt alive in Tamil Nadu’s Theni district on Wednesday. Police are now investigating the identity of the man and are on the lookout for the culprits.

The man’s body was found tied to a gate of the office of the underground sewage treatment plant located near the Bodi-Theni-Munnar highway. His charred body has been sent for autopsy.

Police believe that the accused poured petrol on the deceased before setting him on fire.
