On Thursday (May 30), Ramanathapuram Collector K Veera Raghava Rao made a surprise visit to the government hospitals in Tamil Nadu’s Ramanathapuram and warned the doctors that strict actions would be taken if failed to discharge their duties to the best of their ability
Ramanathapuram: The district Collector K Veera Raghava Rao gave a surprise visit to the government hospitals in the districts and reviewed their working conditions in the hospital. After reviewing the hospital, the collector warned the doctors and other staff members about the complaints that he has been receiving from the patients for the past few days.
It is reportedly said that the doctors in the hospital would prescribe patients to private scanning centres for MRI and other scans even though the hospital has scanning machines. However, the doctors denied the allegations and said that the patients coming to the hospital were receiving the treatment in the hospital itself.
