Vellore: Taj Paradise, a shoe store was left gutted after a fire broke out around 1am on Tuesday. 30 firefighters put in their efforts and managed to douse the flames. According to reports, goods worth Rs 30 lakh was destroyed. The firefighters suspect that the showroom caught fire due to a short-circuit in the air conditioner.
A case has been registered, and further details are awaited.
