Theni: As many as 10 employees of a private bank allegedly raped a 28-year-old woman in a resort. The employees had promised to provide her a job in the bank where they work. They recorded the act and blackmailed the woman.
The employees reportedly threatened to leak the video on the internet if she did not co-operate with them. Out of fear, the woman agreed to go out with them to locations of their choice.
The victim's husband works in another state, which made it difficult for her to confide in him. After a few days, she mustered the courage and informed her husband of what had transpired.
The woman approached the deputy superintendent of police office in Bodi subdivision in Theni district and filed a complaint against the private bank employees. Further details are awaited.
