Tamil Nadu: 1000 kg rice stored to smuggle to Kerala seized in Nagercoil

Nagercoil: Police have seized 1000 kg of rice that was stored to be smuggled to Kerala, in Nagercoil in Kanyakumari district of Tamil Nadu. The rice was to be sold at fair price shops in Tamil Nadu. The rice was being stored to be sold for a higher price in Kerala. Police found bags lying outside Krishna Temple in Nagercoil and found it to be bags full of rice. Police are trying to arrest the culprits trying to smuggle the rice to Kerala.
